Education

1966 – Ph.D. in Physics, University of Mississippi.

Professional Experience

  • Over 25 years of experience in graduate education and research and development in the areas of laser, molecular and fluid physics.
  • Presented graduate level courses in the traditional areas of physics and nonequilibrium fluid physics and nonlinear optics.
  • Developed radiative scattering and extinction measurement methods and mathematical deconvolution techniques for the study of particle formation processes.
  • Conducted research in the area of laser-induced plasma and combustion phenomena.
